Identity Trainer

The soprano Maria Eckert completed a degree in medicine alongside her vocal training and was awarded a doctorate in general medicine in 2010. Although her primary focus has always been on her artistic career, it has been important to her to remain connected to the medical field at all times.

In 2022, she began her work in music physiology through workshops at various institutions, such as the Wiener Musikschulen, the Chorverband Vorarlberg, and the Meisterklassen Gutenstein, among others.

In 2024, she received a teaching assignment in music physiology at the Josef-Haydn-Privathochschule in Eisenstadt. In 2025, she completed the university course “Musikphysiologie im künstlerischen Alltag” at the UdK Berlin, the Hans-Eisler-Musikhochschule Berlin, and the HMTM Hannover.

In addition, she works as a lecturer for anatomy, physiology, and special pathology at the Fachhochschule für Allgemeine Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege as well as for occupational therapy at the FH Wiener Neustadt.
